Name of the animal
The leopard is a species of the genus panthera, the smallest of the four big cats. A leopard is also known as a leopard or a leopard because of its bright colors, spots, and golden fur. Leopards can be said to be agile hunters, physical fitness, flexible movements, running fast.
Leopards are widely produced in China, Asia and America, so there are Chinese leopards, there are Asian leopards, there are jaguars; It is also widely produced in Africa, so there are also African leopards. But Europe does not produce leopards, nor does Australia, home to marsupials. There are 3 subspecies in China: p. ardus fusea, P.P.F ontanieri and P.P.O. rientalis.
Chinese leopards first appeared in the middle of the Oligocene, indicating that the animal has existed for at least half a million years. This leopard is also known as the golden leopard.
Folded domestic distribution
In China, there are at least 3 subspecies of leopard: Indian leopard/south China leopard (P.pardus fusea), north China leopard/Chinese leopard (P.P.F ontanieri) and far east leopard (northeast leopard) (P.P.O rientalis). Yunnan xishuangbanna may also have indo-chinese leopard. It is necessary to point out that at present, the so-called "south China leopard" does not exist in the past. The name of south China leopard, p.ardus fusea, is actually translated from the same thing as cheetah. Cheetahs may only be found in Tibet (chinazone 2009). In south China, such as guangdong, jiangxi, hunan and fujian, the leopard is probably a Chinese leopard (P.P.F ontanieri).
Chinese leopards were once common in all provinces except Taiwan, hainan and xinjiang. Subspecies of north China occur in north of hebei, shanxi and shaanxi. The northeastern subspecies, which once existed in the mountains of the big and small hinggan mountains in heilongjiang province and the eastern mountains of jilin, extends eastward to the Russian coastal region and the north of north Korea, and is already the world's rarest sub-species of leopard.
